Pointe-au-Pic terminal (La Malbaie)

The Pointe-au-Pic terminal is a year-round marine cargo facility on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River at La Malbaie (Pointe-au-Pic), operated by terminal operator QSL (which absorbed the longtime operator Logistec, present at the site for over 20 years). It specializes in the transshipment of newsprint and pulp-and-paper / break-bulk forest products, historically serving the local Résolu (Resolute) Forest Products newsprint mill. The terminal offers stevedoring, warehousing/storage (about 1,935 m2 indoor and 3,000 m2 outdoor), logistics, transportation and marine services, with a maximum berth depth of 8.2 m (about 27 ft) and on-site rail access via the Quebec Railway Corporation, located less than one mile from Route 362.
