Anyone can browse the registry, and a free account opens every company and port profile. Membership adds the network behind them, who operates where and in what role.
If you look things up now and then, Crew is enough. If you need to know who works where, that is Officer.

FAQ
Is there a trial of the Officer plan?
No, because Crew already does that job. A free account gives you full access to one port of your choice, the same view an Officer has of every port. So you can see exactly what you would be paying for before you pay for it.
Can I change my home port?
Yes, once every 30 days, from your account page under Home port. An Officer membership opens every port, so there is no waiting and no choice left to make.
Can I cancel my membership anytime?
Yes, from your account page under Manage billing. Your membership runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, then the account returns to Crew. We do not refund partial periods. See the Terms of use for the full wording.
How does payment work?
By card, through Stripe, so your card details never reach us. Monthly or yearly, and you can switch between the two from your account page.
How many companies and ports are listed?
859 companies and 179 ports today, across every coast and the Great Lakes. Both numbers grow as we catalogue more.
How current is the data?
We keep it up to date against what each company and port publishes about itself, and we correct entries as things change. If something looks wrong or a company you expected is not here, tell us what is missing.

Why membership exists
The registry is compiled and curated by a team of experts. The goal is a complete picture of the Canadian maritime ecosystem, and one that stays current as the industry changes.
Memberships fund that work, both the coverage still to be built and the verification that keeps what is already here reliable. There are no ads.
Not sure what you need?
Start with Crew. It costs nothing and it does not expire. You get every company and port profile, plus full access to one port of your choice, which is the clearest way to see what an Officer membership opens everywhere else.
