Lafarge Bath Cement Plant dock

The Lafarge Bath Cement Plant is a private cement manufacturing facility on the north shore of Lake Ontario approximately 3 km west of the Village of Bath in Loyalist Township, Ontario. Built in 1973, the plant has a production capacity of about 1.1 million tonnes of cement per year and employs roughly 100 people. It operates a private marine cement dock on Lake Ontario from which it ships bulk cement by vessel throughout the Great Lakes region and into the United States, in addition to ground distribution across Ontario. The plant is owned and operated by Lafarge Canada Inc. (part of Holcim, with its North American building-materials operations now under the Amrize brand).
