The Port of Québec, operated by the Quebec Port Authority (Administration portuaire de Québec, a Canada Marine Act port authority), is the last deep-water port before the Great Lakes: over 15 m of water depth at low tide, 35 km2 of water and 220 hectares of developed land across three main sectors (Beauport, Estuary/Pointe-a-Carcy, Anse au Foulon) plus North Shore and South Shore facilities.
